Deadline :

  • Entry Deadline: March 21st, 2025
  • Product Delivery Deadline: March 21st, 2025
    • Products MUST arrive by March 21st in order to be judged. 
    • Please read the “Shipping Information” below carefully to ensure that your products arrive on time.

Cost :

  • Early Entry (December 1st – March 9th 2025) US $100
  • Regular Entry (March 10th-14th 2025) US $115
  • Late Entry (March 15th-21st US $125
  • Payments: Payment for online entries can be made by credit card through Stripe. Off-line entry fees can be made by credit card or by wire transfer.  The banking information and associated fees for the wire transfer may be requested from us at info@nyibeercompetition.com.
  • If payment is not received by the deadline above, entries will not be judged and beers will not be returned.
  • There is only one entry fee. We do not charge any extra fees for use of our logo and or medals for publicity purposes.

Eligibility & Requirements for Competition Submissions

  • All commercially-produced beers from anywhere in the world are eligible to enter.
  • All entries must be listed on the official entry form, either online or downloaded from this web site as a paper form (see the top of this page for links to both). If downloading the paper form, please complete the entire form and sign at the bottom of the page to certify that the statements on the form are correct. Failure to complete the form properly may result in disqualification.
  • All entries submitted on time will be judged.
  • In addition to your entry form, please email the following information to: info@nyibeercompetition.com:
    • Link to each brand’s website
    • JPG file of your brand artwork (Bottle Shot and/or Hi-Res Logo)
    • Staff Relations Contact (Name, Phone, Email)
    • Up to Date Brand Information (i.e. available in what markets domestically and internationally, info on Master Distiller/Blender, information unique to your brand)
  • Each submission must include 3 12oz or 333ml, 2 x 500 or 750ml Bottles or Cans or the equivalent.

Shipping Information

  • Include the completed submission form or the copy of the online submission confirmation in all shipments to ensure beer is submitted in correct category
  • Again, entries must ship three (3) bottles of each beer submitted for judging. See above “Eligibility and Requirements” for details.
  • Shipments will be accepted Monday through Friday from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. 
  • Beer entries shipped to an address other than the one above will be disqualified and entry fees will not be returned. Please do NOT ship any beers to our New York address.  If you have issues shipping to New Jersey, contact us directly.  
  • If you are shipping internationally outside our freight program, our recommended customs broker is Park Street. They can be reached at competitions@parkstreet.com and they will happily handle your COLA Waiver process. Please contact them directly for fees and compliance questions. All customs brokerage fees and COLA Waivers are to be handled by entrants and must be paid in full before the start of the competition. Failure to be in compliance will result in disqualification.  The Fee for the COLA waiver is US $50
  • The competition, its service contractors, and any officer, staff member, sponsor or director of the same shall not be responsible for the safety of the beers from theft or damage by fire, accident, vandalism or other causes. The competitor expressly waives and releases any claim or demand that he or she may have against any of them by reason of any damage to, or loss of, any beer entered in the competition.

All commercially produced beers from anywhere in the world are eligible. There are no geographic restrictions as long as the product is commercially available and properly submitted.

Each entry must include the equivalent of three standard judging samples, such as three 12oz or 333ml bottles/cans, or two larger-format bottles or cans of equivalent volume.

Entries must be completed using the official online or paper entry form. In addition, entrants are required to email brand information, artwork files, and a staff contact to the competition’s submissions email to ensure accurate records and promotion.

Entry fees can be paid online by credit card via Stripe. Offline payments may be made by credit card or wire transfer. Entries are only judged once full payment has been received.

Shipments must include the correct number of samples and a copy of the submission confirmation. Entries sent to an incorrect address or missing required materials may be disqualified, and entry fees are not refundable.
